Spin & Weave
This is where I will share items specifically connected to my spinning and weaving adventures.
It looks like I have not done anything since this summer. I am happy to say that is not so. I've been busy creating more than documenting.

The bunny is back on the bicycle.
I'll be spinning with the Highland Guild's spinning group.
Here are a few photos of my Tour project this year with the Highland Treadlers and Twirlers 2024.
I was also spinning with JoAnne in the USA. Spinning merino/silk/yak dyed by Louise at Ewenique Fibres on my Daedalus Sparrow accompanied by my Cubs mug.
I spun this rather fine and plied it against itself, split lengthwise and hoping to line up colours. It worked pretty well. I enjoyed the spin very much. I will be weaving with this yarn.
The Brecon is a preparation from John Arbon Mills. Love it! Love their fiber combos and preparation. They are top notch!

Ashford Handicrafts have been in business for several generations. I learned to spin on an Ashford Traditional, I love to weave on Ashford looms. They have a great selection of fibers and yarns as well.
Brown Sheep yarns have also been in business for generations. I have been knitting with Brown Sheep yarns for nearly 40 years and weaving with them for slightly less. This is a great company with an amazing selection of yarns and colors.
